About Our Logo

Our logo was designed by Donna Korba, IHM. An accomplished designer, Donna contemplated the vision of “Entering the Transforming Future,” in search for a visual expression. The image she brought into being resonated with all of our hopes for the Convocation.

Three circles represent the constant movement from Contemplation-Compassion-Commitment and back again to the center where it all begins with one’s relationship with the Divine.

White Circle: Contemplation

Yellow: the Compassion to which we move after we begin to see with God’s eyes

Blue-Green Circle: Commitment (to the world) to action to make the world a more just place. Yellow glow…… Bringing God’s Light to the world

The flowing wave is our movement into the future as we continue on the journey.
