A performance by Sr. Nancy Murray, OP, Rooted in Love is a one-woman performance based on the life of Dorothy Stang, a sister of Notre Dame de Namur, who was murdered in 2005 for her work on behalf of the Amazon rainforest and the poor farmers who sought only to live there in peace.

Sr. Nancy Murray, OP was born into a family of actors-her brother is the Oscar-nominated Bill Murray. She became an Adrian Dominican sister and actress, and travels the country, as well as internationally, presenting a one-woman play of the life and martyrdom of Sr. Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN.
